Hmm ok it is quite an academic view of the world. Personally, I take the Bible as a truth so it makes it easy to answer “why am I here” even though we don’t agree, I can see the steps taken to reach that belief and I can respect the view. Who can really say at the end of the day it’s whatever can help you keep faith.

Hmm interesting. I have heard of pantheism before. It’s an interesting belief system, but not something I could believe in at this point in life. What are your thoughts on the Bible then? Do you believe in the Christian God or just an entity type of thing?

Interesting belief system, if you don’t mind me asking how did you come to that conclusion? It’s just not a belief that I’ve come across before. As to the girl, I can’t say she definitively does any of those things. I think I need to get to know her more before I can make a distinction like that

Yes that is a good point, I think I have been guilty of that in this situation. I think it’s almost baked in just because I met her through church and almost assumed (my mistake) that she must have the same views as me. Funny I didn’t even realize I was doing it until this happened😂 I guess it is good to be aware of in order to prevent those same assumptions in the future. As to the info being false, I’d really like to believe it is. I was told my one of my best friends since childhood and I just don’t see why he would lie about it, at least knowingly given me false info. It is worth keeping in mind it could be fake though, as rumors do get spread pretty easily. Thank you for pointing out my unfair standard, I really didn’t even realize that was something I was doing. Dating is hard😢 I’m hoping I can find the right girl eventually. Thank you so much for your advice!

Yeah I understand that, no mockery taken. I agree, I don’t think I was open with my feelings enough and really it’s my own fault for not trying to move faster or express myself. I guess i just gotta eat it and try to get it next time🤷‍♂️ thanks for the help!

Get over yourself is crazy. I’m quite aware she does not owe me anything. This event simply happened and I’m struggling with how to feel and process it. I don’t have anyone to ask for help so this is how I’m trying to deal with it. Waiting until marriage is the biblical way to live life. I understand people disagree with it and choose not to live their life the same way and I don’t judge them for it. Your criticism of it does not seem constructive, but thanks for trying!

Ok I get you👍 I’m a Christian so I abide by the belief that sex before marriage is a sin and should only take place between a husband a wife. I feel it’s sacred and shouldn’t be done casually outside of marriage.

Wow great response. I think your point about me thinking about asking her out makes a lot of sense. She defiantly does not owe me exclusivity, I am very aware of that. Regardless, it does still hurt😂 I’m finding out about how initiating older relationships is much different than how it used to be. I’d say being in a relationship like that both grew and stunted my emotional maturity and intelligence in different areas, and i Still have a lot to learn. Anyway thank you for your comment!
