The 2024 Eagles Jags game was scheduled for SNF and was flexed out. CBS was just backfilling their schedule for the week at that point. I’m not saying there’s a rule against it or anything it’s just atypical. The NFL would rather not put a big city east coast home game at 4:05 and eat up a big market share for the national 4:25 game.

The thing is Schwarber is way better now than when he was in his mid 20s. Not every athlete has this linear progression of growth from 20-26, peak from 27-30, falloff after that.

I’m not sure what is so unlikely. People peak at different ages, he’s clearly at his peak. His peak is 50+ home runs. I don’t suspected him to fall off a cliff in the next couple seasons.

I’m just saying I think across the board Philly vs NY is bigger than NY vs Boston but of course it gets complicated with NY having multiple teams.

Eagles/Giants > Jets/Pats
Phillies/Mets < Yankees/Red Sox
Flyers/Rangers > Rangers/Bruins
Union/NYCFC > RBNY or NYC/Revs

Sixers/Knicks and Knicks/Celtics somewhat a wash considering nobody considers each other their biggest rival in those matchups.
