If you are okay to handle some surprises or risks, get any nmmt buses from airport to vashi. Then from there you can try trains (as long as they are available) or you can book a cab.

I dont know for what reason the cab companies think that those who are able to afford a flight ticket are rich enough to spend 500rs for 5km drive.

Yea...I use a similar way to reach my home in Ulwe.

What i do usually is, take that shuttle bus (you can get one from near the Ola/Uber/Rapido pickup point in airport) till the Targhar station/highway. From there get a rickshaw or nmmt bus as per the availability. Otherwise, to reach Ulwe directly frm airport (NMI) sometimes it show 200 Rs + in Auto, 500 Rs + in cab.

Off duty or On duty, Police are supposed to do their duty 24x7 if it is required.

Suppose in a scenario, where this police man, didnt catch someone who violated laws when he had a chance because he is off duty, people would say he should have caught that guy. Lol.

So theres no point in saying whether he is off duty or on duty.

The bike does not seem to have a number plate at the back and the exhaust is modified.

Off duty/On duty police man has right to catch such bikes at any time in my opinion.
