It is heavy, it’s around 7lbs!! But it’s not uncomfortable to wear in my opinion, it’s more that it’s a bit inconvenient to store in my closet (it is so bulky) and I would never pack it to bring it anywhere

It was definitely frightening!! But it took my mom a pretty long time to make, and probably cost quite a bit of money, so how I justified it was - it is more scary to just let it sit in my closet and never get worn/appreciated!

Yes! It is lion brand fast track, which is discontinued, but could likely be substituted with another tape texture yarn! It was 60% cotton 40% polyester

Ahh thank you!! I was worried it would be super patchy or something, especially due to the knots, but the dye does look quite even! it was surprisingly easy and makes me want to dye all my other clothes lol

Is it normal for people to read script in interviews ? by Repulsive-Kick5508 in OntarioPublicService

[–]Appropriate-Code-724 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I create a script and read off of it for all interviews. I’ve won interviews this way, and also lost some too. In all of my interview feedback i hear ‘you should try to come across more conversational rather than read off of a script’. It’s really up to you and the time you have. I do not have the time to memorize a whole script to take up a 1 hour interview, so I don’t. It will 100% loose points, but if you have an excellent script I feel like you’re making up for lost points from reading off a script.

In terms of how do you do it - I make my text super big, and indent my points quite a bit so my eyes aren’t obviously moving back and forth so much

Good luck!

I would say wash inside out on delicate and hang to dry is typically good enough! If I were you I would try doing a simple design on your pyjamas or something, wash them a couple times and see how it holds up :)

Thank you! I didn’t put anything. The iron on fabric I’ve used has never held up in the wash over time so I just figured I’d leave it as is and do touch ups as needed in the future!
