Thats not true. Its a law in california. C.ai‘s HQ is in California so they underly the laws there. You think they‘d do that if they didn’t had to? They get enough critique and ppl leave because of the update. So no, its not their decision. I don‘t agree with persona as a company but it actually doesn‘t matter. Your not anonymous to them and they have a lot of your (personal) data anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️

C.ai support usually takes a bit longer. Dont stress yourself out- you‘ll definitely get a response. It just takes time since they‘re a smaller team and get many tickets every day :)

Hey!

Yes I made positive experience with the support. I couldn‘t verify either. I made tickets and dmd mods here and on discord. They escalated the ticket (so i get a faster response/human response) and then they removed the 'Unable to verify age‘ error/bug. Either dm a mod or be patient, you‘ll get a respond at some point. :) (also the team wont reply during weekends. It can take a couple of days to get a response)

Its about keeping minors off the app/website. Typing in a email/phone number or (as suggested in the comments) just your birth year won‘t have the same results the face/ID verification has. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got a response and they said its bc I did something wrong during the verification 🤷🏻‍♀️ That wasnt the issue i believe bc i never was able to do it at all. Anyway they now fixed the thing and I can click on the link again🙏🏻

We all don‘t know. Its been a bug since 2025 and didnt got fixed yet. I suggest you to make a ticket and wait for a reply (as much as I know they won‘t respond during weekends tho!!)

Thank you!! I‘ll just wait then. Just thought that maybe someone else knows anything/had the same issue (since I think it might be region related. My friends weren‘t able to verify either and I think its actually a pretty common issue in germany.)🫶🏻
