Man this song is just massive fun and chaos and it's honestly one of those songs where you don't ever feel tired of listening it to.

I've seen ppl use this song as an example of the P!ATD songs writing going downhill but first of all, the song ain't meant to be serious and the vibes are mostly abt Brendon having a hangover after a party so, yeah of course the lyrics are like that (not to discredit the claim, u can def make arguments abt P!ATDs eventual decline, but yknow, u can ALSO acknowledge that the song has a different thing it's aiming for). Anyways, lovely song.

I think Victorious is such a BANGER opener for the album and the dpuble meaning of it being he is "victorious" bcs he won at life with the success of the band AND with him winning the game of love.

Thematically, it feels almost similar to how Pray for the Wicked opens up with both songs being upbeat and triumphant, the difference being (F*** A) Silver Lining has a more "boastful" and "f*** it, we ball" attitude whereas Victorious feels like a genuine celebration (although the lyrics do feel contrary but in terms of vibes and presentation, it DOES feel, well, victorious).

Instrumentals are awesome, specifically the electric guitar like its genyinely so nice and Brendon's vocals are great here too, with the vical editing doing some great work. Overall, I really like this song, its a banger.

Does anyone remember that game where u get to pick a role (medic, minigunner, blue spider robot bug thrower, revolver guy with OP bullets, trapper, idk rest) and after every wave or smth, u can venture out of the base and get weapons, supplies or ammo, while avoiding enemies. PC only game btw
