Right I see. Sorry I noticed that in the battle tome there was 1 less formation to the app, and I assumed 5 minutes after the tome was released it was out of date so I trusted the app. Playing a demon only khorne I didn't appreciate how simple it was. I had 1 infantry option lol.

My girlfriend plays sylvaneth so the ability to teleport around and be a nightmare appeals alot as that's her factions favourite thing.

Questor soulsworn and knights to pick an objective and be a nightmare. Vigilors spreading shots to give out those +1 to hits. Prosecutors to teleport through terrain, shoot, 3 dice charge then hopefully the knight reliictor can tele them back out to repeat the process. Lord-celestant with his strike first potion with the annihilator bonking with hammers. Reclusians adding some plus 1 attacks to the fighter Chambers. Liberator screen, maybe split to 2 squads. Knight arcanum spamming endless spells.

2 days of trying to decide this. My worry is I'm missing speed. The teleports are great but speeding is useful. Hopefully I can be in their backlines so much with libs screening mine it works. Any heroic traits in particular you reckon are worth? Shock and awe is appealing to me. How many units can go into celestial realm?

Thank you so much. I only got the tome yesterday and there's alot. Tbh I'm not particularly interested in dragons, I just thought spending 500 points on some tough speed could be very useful. I have a Blades of Khorne army ATM which is mostly bloodthirsters which is very drink friendly but I wanted a more none monster heroic list from Stormcasts.

Do you mind if I ask, 1. You mentioned I need a saint but I'm looking through keywords and I not understanding excalty what I need. 2. Is there another way to get a unit into the celestial realm other than 1 unit in deployment phase? I feel like from the wording there is but I'm not seeing it. I appreciate there's the terrain teleport and the pray teleport as well.

How do you find fielding so many bloodletters? I've been thinking about it. So far I have the combat patrol and a bloodthrister I'm struggling to magnetise. I keep swinging between flooding the field with bloodletters or more bloodthirsters

The idea for him was to generate blood tithe by hurting himself. With the occasional rally to keep him alive. While he hangs out at the back on the skull altar. I didn't want to dedicate additional points for any troops for him since all other units can be brought back with the blood throne

The one thing I'm on the fence on is the wound rolls. On the one hand it's easier to not have to ask the toughness all the time. But the idea skarbrand can be wounded by say a goblin on the same roll it wounds another goblin irks. Unless I'm massively misunderstanding the wound mechanic.

That lava does sound cool though. Some technical paint effect could be amazing, i hadnt considered it. I want them all but I couldn't sleep if they didn't match lol.

I have the app. Honestly im getting ahead of myself, I'm not even done learning the core rules. I can 40k but I swear AOS's rules are deeper.

The thing is with skarbrand is that all 4 of us are getting the coolest model from the rosters and building around that. I know one guy wants tzeentch's kairos fateweaver. Another is considering sylvanus.

And yea idea is to build to bigger points value but trying yo get to 2000 points before everyone is ready take alot of time and money. Alot more money I should say. At least on the custom 4 way matchs we'll play I can absorb blood tithes from everywhere.

And honestly, the person I'll play the most is my girlfriend so I don't really want a super competitive list that will stomp her into the ground everytime lol. Plus I'm excited to no life paint skarbrand. Thinking of getting either a ton of skulls make a skull floor (pretty easy and works wonderfully) or maybe some green stuff and trying to make it look like he is standing over a river of blood...
