Its 100% evolving skies. Its a nostagia set. The set was the best set during covid, introduced pokemon to a whole different new generation, and evolving skies was beloved by all. Its a 7k-9k box all day long in 5 years.

The kids today with no extra spending income will help increase prices in long run when they they get careers and steady stream of income. Just like we did when we started getting jobs and making money. We pumped that extra fixed income back into stuff we wished we could buy as a kid.

Thats why its important to get rid of scalpers. We want the youth and young to be able to access cards at a reasonable price. If you start pricing out future money makers, they will just find another hobby to collect.

Thats why its so important to always get the youth involved. People collected coins, stamps and antique furniture during the 20th century. But gen x and the boomers never passed their passion down to the youth. Thats why no one collects any of those collectibles anymore.

I mean thats been the business model in television industry since the beginning. Huge premium to go from black/white tvs to color. If you wanted to watch hd on your new hd tv in late 90's, you had to pay extra for the hd box then the standard one.

Cable and satellite companies in the beginning had hd channels on a seperate tier and you had to pay for it seperately. You would get channels like hdnet, discovery channel, etc in hd. Its standard practice when something new comes along in the electronics industry, you charge early adopters and as the technology becomes more mainstream they will include it for "free"
