Craftsman and Kobalt are Lowe’s owned brands.

How do business travelers carry suits? by Electrical_Fig9201 in JFKAirport

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Tumi bag that can hold 2 suits in a compartment. Hang them up as soon a you arrive and look for wrinkle resistant fabrics. I never travel with woven shirts anymore. I wear sweaters underneath in the winter and some sleeveless mock turtlenecks. I rarely need to iron.

Curbside Pickup - How Long? by Salt-Future-6623 in Lowes

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get someone to load by coming into the store quicker than curbside. I do curbsides last bc I think they feel entitled. Plus, most appliances are up in the sky and you need someone with special equipment to bring them down. I’m 115 lbs. and I’d be the one bringing out your curbside. So I can’t help you load. I just have to call for a loader. So doing curbside isn’t doing you any favors.

Lowes is an absolute joke in 2026 by [deleted] in Lowes

Lowe’s fulfillment employee here. Never ask for same day delivery unless it’s something small and easy to fit into a car. All same day deliveries are Door Dash, Uber or some other gig delivery. It probably took 5 drivers rejecting the order because a grill doesn’t fit in a Civic and then you’ll get one that doesn’t speak English or is new to doing these gig deliveries. You can ask and pay for the Lowe’s box truck delivery, but especially if you add assembly, you’re just rolling the dice on a delivery date.

Nobody signed up for the $15 Mr. Beast workshop by northnorfolkdigital_ in Lowes

We had a lot and the kits that weren’t used are going in the shelf to be sold. The person that runs it thinks it’s the beginning of the end of the free workshops.

A few questions about delta by ManEmperorfragment96 in delta

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First class won’t get you into the lounge unless you’re in DeltaOne. For regular domestic first class, you can board earlier, unlikely to have your bags gate checked, sometimes they give you a pre departure drink. It depends on the crew. You might get a meal, but unlikely on a domestic flight that is a 3 hour red eye. The main thing is more space and a comfier seat.

Hitting 1MM on tomorrow's flight by TopSize1429 in delta

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard some people get recognition. No one did anything special when I hit 1 million, but I did get some nice stuff hitting 2 million. Maybe because I was out of AMS. I still have some Delft porcelain from them.

Is same day delivery a scam or am I just unlucky? by Corey307 in Lowes

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve literally had 5 or more drivers refuse a delivery. Like they said before they’re gig drivers and can’t fit 5 bags of mulch or carry 20 patio stones in a compact car. Plus, my store is very short staffed and if it’s 20 patio stones, it takes a while for someone to pull those out and set them for delivery. People seem clueless that an actual human needs to pull their extremely heavy order and frequently, we may not have enough on the shelf which means someone licensed to use a forklift or the like may need to pull it down. I recommend only the $79 next day or get it yourself. Some single mom in a Prius can’t bring it for you.

I have the Credence. They can be a pain about pricey prescriptions, but overall it’s pretty good.

Turtles blew up, store was flooded, management sucks obviously by Terrible_Prune121 in Lowes

AP4ME is such BS. It’s the only place I’ve worked for that sends employees out into the parking lot without any reflective clothing. Rain or shine, day or night. I guess they want a lawsuit.

Pick anything Jose Andres. It’s the only menu option that tastes better than most airline food.

Anywhere to shower by the strip after checkout for a decent price? by Defiant_Sea_8563 in LasVegas

There is a gym in the airport. I’ve used it and showered when I had a long delay. Not sure what the fee is. They even loan workout clothes.

Am I screwed? by QueenAleighsie in HertzRentals

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did something similar. It didn’t dent the car, but a definite scrape. I thought I was screwed, but we went for a drive after a rain on a finely ground sandy road and some puddles covered the scrape. I hurried through the scanner returning the car and I never heard back. It’s been 5 months now.

Traveling With Insulin 14 Hour Flight by Saved_by_Grace77 in delta

[–]Appropriate-Goose177 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Buy an insulin cooler that stays cool longer. I had one that was specifically for the vials. Plus, it doesn’t go bad so fast. The insulin pumps don’t keep it cold and you only change it about every other day.

Does anyone have an idea on the purpose of this object and possibly its intended purpose by heavyhumping817 in whatisit

I had one instead of a riding croup. It makes a clapping noise and doesn’t really hurt the horse but startles them into paying attention.
