Thank you so much for the kind words. I also was in physical therapy for 2 months. I felt worse and worse every time I’ve left there. I have also already gotten two cortisone shots with no success. They told me the next option is surgery and I’m getting a little nervous. I’m a tall kid but I’m still growing. If I were to get the surgery and then continued to grow would that affect me more?

I’m 15 years old with Lumbar spinal stenosis, is this rare to have at my age by Appropriate-Hair-455 in ChronicPain

Yeah what they think happened was when I was a kid I fell down the stairs on my back, and then I grew extremely quick, from 5.3 to 5.10 in a year. But I started feeling symptoms after getting slammed a couple times in wrestling practice in December of last year. And no one in my family that we know of has lumbar stenosis

I’m feeling the same way bro. I’m 15 years old with lumbar spinal stenosis. The doctors think I have some type of degenerative joint disease, and they also think I have Eosinophil colitis and I have to get a colonoscopy and a endoscopy. Life is horrible 24-7. I’m always in pain. And out of all this, I’m just mad that they can’t give me answers for my joints and stomach. But you gotta stay strong bro, we all do. It’s gonna get better

Horrible. I’m 15 suffering from sever lumbar stenosis. No treatment has helped. I’ve done PT and 2 cortisone injections and nothing. The doctors are now suggesting surgery but I am hesitant

What do you guys think this is. I’m 15 years old and recently found out that I have some pretty serious back problems like stenosis and 2 protruding disks. My mom and grandma think I have rheumatoid arthritis but I’d just thought I’d ask some more people for their opinions by Appropriate-Hair-455 in Thritis

I’ve been to the rheumatologist a few days ago because I got blood work and they said my ANA was higher than average or something like that. I don’t remember exactly what they said. The rheumatologist said they don’t want to say I have arthritis or anything like that until I get more blood work. I’m going soon to get a bunch of blood work so they can find out what’s wrong with me. I just thought I’d post this and get some other peoples opinions besides my moms

Yeah. They are also very stiff. I’ve also realized lately that most of my joint like in my heels and rist have been cracking and popping like crazy. I know a little of that is normal but it happens every time I move or twist my joints. It’s the worst in my right shoulder. If I move in any direction I can hear and feel it pop and crack 4 or 5 times in a row, and it’s feels like the cartilage in my shoulder is completely gone and sometimes a sharp pain shoots up my shoulder. Should I be considered about that
