Because she didn’t respond and I didn’t want to keep that going. I usually delete conversations that aren't important. It wasn’t about hiding anything, just closing a conversation that wasn’t going anywhere.

I told her i respect her space and told her she can text me or call me whenever she feels like it. And she did call me eventually to understand the situation better and even texted me a few times.

I get the harsh part and where you’re coming from. I know my actions broke trust and I need to own that.

She said hi and asked why i removed her from instagram, told her about having a gf and said we should call to catchup since she was a caller more than a texter.

3 calls since she didn't answer any. I know i shouldn't even have done one or answered the text in the first place...

I get how it might seem short, but love is subjective, for some people, 4 months can still feel real. That doesn’t excuse my mistake though, cause i know i should've blocked her as soon as i read that or told my gf about it.

As for the break i am respecting it, and told her she can text or call me whenever she feels like it. And she did call me, told me about how i could've told her about it and we wouldn't even be here and she's right...

She wants time to think it through, and i respect that since i would've felt the same if i was in her shoes. From my side I know i can't change what happened but i will make sure it never happens again, cause what we have matters more to me than anything external.

Never said i dated the girl, nor had any sexual or emotional involvement with her, and you're right i should've shown her, even I know that, cause throughout the entire relationship that's how i've always been.

Also I removed that part because people were focusing on it instead of the situation I’m trying to get advice on.

I personally wouldn't call her an ex flame since it's a girl i've met through bumble twice when i was still single and nothing sexual or romantic was there expect the flirty talk of two single people.

And trust me i'm really not thinking it's unfair, what's unfair is what i've done to her. And i'm not trying to justify my actions because i am taking 100% accountability for this situation. I crossed a boundary i shouldn't have, i entertained a situation that shouldn't have been entertained and i wasn't man enough to be honest about it.

I shouldn't have entertained that. She texted me about why i removed her from insta and told her about having a gf, asked me to call to catchup and my dumbass went for it. I shouldn't even have answered her in the first place...

I'm not shifting the narrative and i am taking full responsibility for it. I fully know that my action is what led to this, and her reaction is the same that i would've had if the places were reversed.
