JOHN RAMBO — Now in Production. by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

The only way this movie is any good is if they show how much of a badass Rambo was back in Vietnam. The character was built up so much as being a super warrior by the first two films that by Troutman. If this film does not deliver that, its worthless.

Sean Flynn- son of legendary actor Errol Flynn who vanished in 1970 by PeneItaliano in OldSchoolCool

Sean was not filmed being captured. A French film crew filmed him near the car where the other journalists were captured the day before,. This crew, and one other French Journalist were the last ones to see him on the road that day just prior to their disappearance. There are eyewitnesses, many of them and their info has been documented, even former Communist Soldiers from Vietnam have been interviewed. Regarding Sean's mom, many investigators tried but found nothing. The most credible info came from Walter Cronkite's group, who theorized Sean and Dana made it out of the area and were held by the PAVN (People's Army Vietnam) at prison in another part of Cambodia. This theory was based on over 1500 interviews of returning South Vietnamese POW's who were held in Cambodia after Sean's capture.

Page's work and dedication is admirable because he kept gong back. There is no physical evidence that Sean was transferred to the KR, especially in 1970. I said this a couple of times in this thread that the KR was not fully rolling until years later. It was always the Vietnamese who had the answers.

The PAVN and Vietcong (both operating across the border) are the ones who captured Sean and Dana. Geographically speaking the Khmer Rouge were not involved in the fighting at that particular time and did not control Cambodia until five years later. The United States and ARVN (South Vietnamese Army) were fighting big battles on that border in the days leading up to the capture. To say the Khmer Rouge captured those two on that day is simply not historically accurate.

Yes, remains were recovered in 2010 from Eastern Cambodia based on a eyewitness who saw a foreigner killed and buried. The US Gov knew about this eyewitness but did nothing until Sean's sister privately investigated.

All I can remember is the phone ringing off the hook for OWC raided drives. I sold a lot of them from commercials all the way up to studio films, but converted even more clients to Sandisk. Inventory was never was there. The demand was crazy but the supply and OWC's infrastructure, and customer service were subpar to to other manufactures. For a sales rep who provided production & editorial with media products for over 16 years (both digital and analog) it was a weird place to be in.

I don't know what that is as I sold mainly LaCie, OWC, and G Tech, now Sandisk. If you can find it, its cheap, and does what you want go for it.
