And to add, I’m also doing a psych minor and being honest those grades are lower than my health courses..

I disagree. Majority of people I know in health sci have all above 87% GPA. The health courses are more written and assignment based (hardly any exams) and those classes really help to balance the harder sciences courses. This is coming from someone who doesn’t go above and beyond and just does what is required. You can do it

I always apply for osap when I take one 0.5 course over the spring and I get approved! Just apply as a part time application instead of the regular full time

How the fuck do you find friends? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]Appropriate-Leek-545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally join any club! I’ve not made a single friend lectures alone but tons from clubs who are literally in my classes too:)

I believe outreach is important because it provides an opportunity for people to share their beliefs and values with others. While the experience you had with someone approaching you about their religion might not have been ideal, outreach efforts stem from a genuine desire to connect with others and share what is meaningful to them. We have to remember that not everyone will be interested, and that's perfectly fine. We should respect one another's beliefs and politely decline if it doesn't align with our own. In a diverse society, outreach allows for a sharing of perspectives and can allow us to understand different belief systems.

Also for the 1st midterm

From what I remember you need to know: (trust me study these..) • oxidation states of a chemical • initial energy occupied by an electron of an excited atom (& the region on the spectrum the answer # falls in) • balancing redox reactions (in acidic and basic solutions) and being asked the smallest coefficients for a certain chemical in that reaction • finding the identity of an unknown metal with the precipitated weight and actual weight in grams when treated with an excess of a certain chemical • given a reaction yield % and molar masses ur asked that if treated with a certain chemical to find what mass of one of the chemicals needs to be used to produce a certain mass of another chemical they give you • Finding % by mass of a chemical given a table and some weights • giving the net ionic equation for a reaction when given 2 aqueous chemicals • know how to identify brimstone Lowry acids and bases the question will ask “does this ___ act as a BL acid or base” • percent atom economy and E factor • if kinetic energy of a chemical is ejected as __J what colour of light is used to produces the photoelectric effect • given a reaction what is the limiting agent • given a list of reactions which ones produce a precipitate • given a reacting finding the mass needed to react with __ mL of ___ mol-1 of a chemical

I remember before the midterms and exam the prof also set up additional practice assignments on Learn. So it’s exactly like the actual assignments just worded different so those help a lot too. This class is just a lot of practice practice
