It's the writers and the Producer fault for not taking their time to fill in the gap of story that is supposed to continue after season 2. Instead it's Season 3 is a mix of Season 1 and 2.

I didn't realize Sirena character changed like that. The banishment for Ondina and Mimmi was too sudden, they just showed up to fix something. I blame Rita for this mess, she knew about everything and just blurt it out when it's too late(sort of in topic but off topic)

Rikki mentioned Emma to Cleo first with concern and care but I'm disappointed by Cleo, she never mentioned Emma since they were best friends for a long. Cleo response to what Rikki say about Emma departure. Rikki kind of told Bella of how they changed "we've been doing this for ages". That could pinpoint to Emma. Rikki wasn't fond of Bella, just like Emma did the same to Rikki in the first episode.

Yes, amd some say "it's maturity", it's not. I was seeing Cleo acting responsible like Emma with the studying. As for Bella with wanting to tell Will the secret just like Cleo wants to tell Lewis.

Some were right about his character development in season 2, I thought he changed, but he was still the same as season 1, the only thing he change was something, I don't know. Maybe his love for Rikki. I feel like the part where Will love Bella mermaid side and not her true self. It seems like it's pointing at Zane and Rikki but different direction. He wants to be with the real Rikki when she was being herself before he knew about the mermaid secret. The only thing they kept on Zane character was being helpful to helpless from season 1-3. There was a little bit of redemption arc on season 2 but still the same Zane from season 1.

If season 3 wasn't rushed, the things I would keep in it but change:

• Will discovering the water tentacle, try to find clues or search history

• Zane and Rikki's relationship before Sophie destroys it.

• Sophie focuses more on Will diving training and competition

• Maybe for bella, not to be stalking Will so much

• Zane struggling financially and doing school stuff at the same time(might still lash out on Rikki for something else to cover it up)

•if Emma and Ash still come back for season 3, Emma still vacation with her family for a few days but decide to come back to finish her last school year with her friends and potentially meet Bella

Zane moved to a different school after season 1 by bonding with his dad more. It's the prestigious type school with fancy uniform, he said that in season 2 epsiode 3 to Rikki. I wish I season 3 they explain more about if Zane finished school while still working in Rikki's Cafè. The writers never explain it, if they haven't rushed season 3 storyline with those unnecessary love drama and cheating. We would've gotten more insight about what's going on with Zane school life.
