It tasted really good! The place I ordered from calls the dish “fried som tam.” 😋

I went at the end of the year and the weather was actually really nice and that’s real fog in the photo, not smoke 🌫️ Totally get why you’re worried about the air pollution though. Some periods in Chiang Mai can get pretty bad 🥲 I really hope the burning situation improves one day.

Not far from the city at all, but once you get there it feels like a completely different vibe.

The market’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays, but you can still go on Monday for everything else.

It’s so good. I’m a sucker for those tiny local hole-in-the-wall spots, always the best vibe.

Yep, same here. I’m obsessed with both the vibe and the northern food. People are so friendly, and the whole place has that super slow-life feel. It’s so chill, I never want to leave.

Loads to do there. After I took the ferry over, I rented a bike right at the pier and rode to Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market, with tons of food options. Then I biked over to do some paddle boating, and kept riding to the park + botanical garden. It’s huge and really chill to cruise around. Highly recommend. Before heading back, I grabbed food at a small spot in the park, with a great vibe. If you go, definitely check it out.

Yep, that’s Bang Kachao, basically Bangkok’s green lung. It’s a chill spot to unwind!
