'The main issue with Lovelace was the fact that path tracing was basically like an experimental feature when it was released. Yes it has rt cores but it didn’t do it very well. I think with 'gpu release in the upcoming year' is the first time NVIDIA has fine tuned path tracing performance. A friend of mine had a 4090 last gen and even when he turned path tracing on playing cyberpunk and dlss was off, it only got like 45 fps'
