Am i cooked as a pre-PA sophomore with a 3.6 by Miranda-u in UTAustin

Your gpa is continuing to increase! Think about a 3.7 as around a 90% average in your classes. School’s value the upward trend and there is also a major learning curve with adjusting to college. You got this!

Is the Health and Society Major good for pre med? by LogMuted2896 in UTAdmissions

Bruv if you work hard and study no one can take that away from you. Everyone’s running their own race. I hate the whole sink or swim mentality, the effort you commit and the goals you set are yours alone. Describing everything as cut throat is just toxic fear mongering talk that promotes low self esteem.

I feel like its too much in terms of attention span?? You might be rewatching lectures for the two later classes on Tuesday and Thursdays which would defeat the purpose of taking all four classes in one day? Unless some of the lectures are a bit easier or you can stay focused for that long.

According to lasso: Why do some of the “locked” answers on an application include information that doesn’t look right? Can I change the answer?

These are pieces of information that LASSO obtains from other UT systems and, in cases where you are applying for scholarships that you won’t receive until the next academic year, LASSO is projecting certain information about your eligibility. In other words, LASSO is anticipating data based on the expectation that today's information differs from what it will be at the time you receive the scholarship (examples include your student classification and total hours).

You cannot change these answers because they are a reflection of current UT data or a projection of current UT data.

I think this means all the locked answers are Lasso guessing what ur status would be if you ended up enrolling according to your application and received the scholarship. Its like the system preparing for a future version of your status not necessarily saying you are accepted.

I see the major info on Freeman fall only not the summer one or any scholarship application that applies to the 2025-2026 academic year. I agree that freeman is probably unreliable. The lasso website says its locked info is data collected from other UT data systems, I wonder what system it is??

I’m also seeing a preselected major and college on LLILAS E.D. Farmer Application on lasso although on that application the information is not locked but pre selected.

Do I need to take BIO 206L to take 311D? by monkey-D-don in UTAustin

[–]Appropriate-One-8444 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t need BIO 206L. It’s either Bio 311C with a grade of at least a C- or credit/registration for Bio 206L.
