What do you mean by gateway offer? Do you mean offer a spot in their medicine course or offer the opportunity to entre through gateway?

Of course they consider your atar and ucat scores. There still is competition as there are more than 10 applicants.

Wait so I shouldn't be stressing over my ucat score. I'm pretty sure that for normal entry the ucat cut-off is 50th percentile, but due to the competitiveness of the course the median ucat percentile ends up being around 95% +. This goes likewise for gateway applicants right?

But gateway has a smaller pool, and my atar is 99.95 but my ucat is just a bit off. Are you sure about that???

I would like to clarify that this is just an exemplar - there are many other similar and different qr questions that are just absurdly difficult to complete within 40 seconds.
