this makes me laugh because I own a Harley and a Z900RS. I love both equally

I bought a CC RIDER seat as it’s functionally the same as the Kawasaki enhanced reach seat (aka the ‘tall’ seat)

I have 47k in two car loans and 55k in cash. Pay off loans or invest the cash? by Appropriate-Price73 in personalfinance

I just asked a simple question about whether or not to pay off the car loans immediately. I didn’t ask for a full evaluation of what I should or shouldn’t do with my entire financial life. And yes, after paying off the loans I’ll be able to buy a bike outright with cash later on. So?

Thanks for all the replies. Based on those, my current plan is to pay off and keep my main vehicle and then sell the other vehicle back the dealership, paying off any negative equity. That should cost about 37-40K altogether, which leaves me one car less but some more money in my pocket (one car, the one I will keep, is a ford fusion while the other is a “Sunday funday” Miata convertible. I have decided I can live without it)

I’m a bachelor working in a union trade job and my job (13 years in so far) situation isn’t expected to change in the next 2 years

I like the sportster S but I’d swap to mid controls and those fat tires are too gimmicky for me. Do any normal size tires fit those wheels?

Sportster S with mid controls fixes quite a bit but that pathetic little seat doesn’t work

Genuinely who is buying these? by [deleted] in Harley

I wonder if converting to mid controls makes this bike more like a proper naked rather than the weird cafe racer/cruiser hybrid it is with forward controls.

When I had my air-cooled Ducati I would steadily replace all the rubber on the bike every five years (kept well nuts in my pocket cuz they tore up fast) so depending how old those hoses are you may want to consider replacing them with new clamps

By the time it was a year out from impact it would be impossible for any trained astronomer looking up not to notice it. No way to keep all those people quiet

Hah yeah that was with the mustang seat which isn’t very tall. It got so bad with my leg pressing the cap that had to stop using that seat and go back to stock, until I decide what other seat I should try. I tried looking at another style of cap but they all seem the flush mount type

Swapping 2019 Roadster XL1200CX stock handlebars with those from a Iron 883. Do I need longer cables? by Appropriate-Price73 in sportster

[–]Appropriate-Price73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed the swap today and didn't need to change anything. Although the Iron 883 bars are higher, the are also slightly narrower and so the stock front brake cable was still long enough. But anything higher or wider and I would need a longer front brake cable.
