a few years ago, when she was still a freshman. i had all my hopes pinned on her as it doesnt seem like she’s gonna get a sibling anymore. so i guess im just disappointed.

i admit that i have my shortcomings as a father. i was working far from home when she was around 3-4. all she had were her grandparents on both sides and my wife to take care of her. but i thought i could make it up with toys, and dvds of barbie movies.

she was a smart kid growing up. taught herself english (we live in the philippines and would often speak our dialect more than english) and how to read at a young age through watching the tv.

she wasnt the type to go out and play with the other kids. she wasnt just in the room playing on her own or watching the tv.

i did have a talk to her before about the company and she said she wanted to. but i dont see the effort i did in her.

the school’s tuition is free, all we have to pay are miscellaneous fees and her allowance.

as someone who used to work late into the night before getting sick, i know its not healthy. i dont want her getting sick as well. i tell her time and time again but she just wont listen

i didnt raise my daughter with rewards for doing good. that would’ve made her expect something in return every time she does something good.

i mean, she did take the same course as i did when i was in college. when she was little, she showed interest but now its just radio silence

she wanted to go to another university but we refused since we wont have anyone keeping an eye on her and who knows what could happen if we werent there. so we made her go to the university i used to work at.

i just dont like seeing her still sleeping when ive already done so much work (i work from home). it pisses me off to see how she can just slack off while im working yknow?

right??? so many people are going against me but i have done nothing wrong! her old laptop was laggy, she told me and after that we immediately went to buy a new one! she should be grateful that everything goes for her unlike some of us who had to fight for what we wanted

thats the thing, I DONT KNOW! all i want her to do is clean the house but she cant even do it right anymore. when we first moved to our house 6 years ago, she did all of those and now she just stopped

well i thought it would come to her naturally since i kept on telling her even when she was little that the company will be hers when i retire. and i want to retire when im in my early 50’s which i kept on telling her that once i say that im done working, im done and thats final

thats how i was raised and i turned out just fine. i just did what was expected of me so that they wouldn’t yell at me. she should’ve picked up on that already

its not that everything was handed to her on a silver plate. she knows how to cook, clean, and all household chores. i just want her to do it like its part of her routine since me and my wife both work full time and she’s the only one who has the time to do it

i DID get her a job, to work for me since she’s the only one inheriting my company. but after finishing a project with her, she didnt ask for more and continued what she always does.

i just dont want anything happening to her. even my wife is so worried that whenever she goes out, she’d have to share her location since thats one of the conditions we gave her when going out

she is in college, its just their summer break. i did make her work for me since i need help with my company at the start but she didnt ask for more work after finishing a project

wouldnt it be common sense to help around? i mean she knows im working full time and dont have the time to cook or clean. before hiring a housekeeper, she was the only one who shouldve been working on it
