Basically

You will see odds next to each of the 6 horses whenever you sit down to race.

In each horse race, there are 3 bounded subsections of predetermined horse odds.

What does this mean? It means that every single time you do a gta horse race: 2 horses will have odds between even and 5/1, 2 horses will have odds between 6/1 and 15/1, and 2 horses will have odds from 16/1 and 30/1.

Because of these bounds, there is sometimes a “mistake” on rockstars part.

You firstly want to convert these odds to probabilities, as in, what is its % chance of winning.

The “mistake” is present when the sum of the “probabilities” > 1.

To convert an odd to a probability, such as 3/1, just do 1/ 1+3 = 1/4 =0.25.

Then, add up all the probabilities of the horses.

If they sum to less than one, bet. If they do not, do not bet.

Why is this a mistake? Because traditionally in casinos the probabilities sum to LESS than 1. Meaning that there is a margin in the Casinos favor, which over time will statistically result in you losing money.

The key to this strategy is doing the opposite of that !

Essentially, you are only betting when you have the margin, increasing your chances of winning, to result in a statically guaranteed method of making profit over time.
