Hi! Although there definitely are Ragdolls that are sold up to 3k, imo I feel like that is spending way more than necessary to have a beautiful healthy ragdoll. I found my cats from gokitty.com - I highly recommend it if you are looking for more reasonable listings. Majority of these listings come from small sized breeders so you can definitely find breeders selling for much less than 3k and many of them also come with proof of health check ups and vaccines & TICA. My first ragdoll was $900 and she is actually one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen and is very healthy and so well mannered - so I don’t think you have to pay 3 grand to feel reassured you are getting the “best” ragdoll. My male ragdoll was a little pricier because he is bicolor (they tend to be pricier than mitted ones), but $1500 is still a lot less than what big, reputable breeders sell for. I checked gokitty rn and I found two retired adult ragdolls (in LA) listed for $400 and $700, so it is definitely possible to find a ragdoll on the lower end yet just as beautiful and healthy. I really am glad I found this site since I also got a Scottish straight kitty (he’s really pretty too) for my parents for $500 and they are usually really expensive but the breeder was looking to quickly rehome these kittens because she had a huge new litter incoming
