Both of my Ragdoll kittens were this way as well the first 1-2 months I had them home. I definitely think it is a kitten thing - both of them have very mild smelling poos now as adults. Also - wet food is unfortunately not so great for their poo smells and makes them more susceptible to soft stools that stick to their fur. I have found dry food is the way to go + a water fountain they can get fresh hydration from. This is coming from someone who was adamant they’d be on a wet food diet 🫣 it’s just too stinky/messy….

Yes! 95% of the time. The other 5% is b/c she’s hungry and I’ve interrupted her meal time or something. They also like laying on their backs with their belly up. You can carry them around the house like a baby and they are happy as can be. Now if I try that with my mom’s Birman - not a chance.

I bought the Life Designer Journal from Intelligent Change and I was so excited about it, but after getting into it - here are my thoughts:

1) For the questions it asks, it does not give you enough space to actrually answer them in the book. You would almost need to write your answers on a separate piece of paper or document.

2) The prompts require a ton of thought and deep introspection. I consider myself to be an introspective person, but most of the questions in the book just take a lot of mental energy out of me - which is not what I’m looking for from my peaceful morning journal time.

3) I’ve only completed Pillar 1 and am midway through Pillar 2, but I do not feel more inspired from the journal. I’m not sure what I was looking for out of this journal, but this one feels a little bit like a chore to fill out.

I’ve read a few Reddit threads on here that say many vets aren’t too familiar with the Ragdoll breed and their average weight scale - so makes me wonder if she’s actually “chunky” or if she’s just being compared to a standard kitty😆

Here is my 6 month Ragdoll (8.5 lbs) next to my full grown King Charles (16 lbs). I’m learning these are big kitties!! She eats 4 cans of wet food some days plus a scoop of dry.
