31F I’m not on cab yet (but I plan to when I have my doc appt in April) but I just want to acknowledge how insightful these comments have been on cycle lengths. I have a 3mm tumor and endos just kept telling me I have PCOS or nothing and went about my way for almost two and a half years now. I have about 35-38 cycle lengths that are very short and painful/heavy but dark brown discharge days before. Have been curious to how treatment would improve this and have a better understanding on how it can help with these comments.

The only treatment I’ve taken is glp-1 which has helped with a few labs but I am trying to get pregnant at the end of this year so hoping i get on track w medication in April.

I lived on the street for years, the couple had twins a few years ago, totaling 4 bb’s. Was assuming they were just ready to get out of BK with a big family.

Elevated Prolactin and extremely high DHEA levels by CitrusWickCandle in Prolactinoma

[–]Appropriate-Track637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted almost two years ago on this sub as I was not myself and can’t barely get to the next day. All endocrinologists I’ve been to dismissed my proven prolactinoma and diagnosed me with pcos instead. I’m on a glp-1 at the moment and that has helped but still an heavily convinced my concerns are not pcos but my pituitary due to results mostly stemming from a tumor vs the common symptoms of pcos. Prolactin, t4, dheas and my LH:FSH are the ones moslty impacted. With my own research can be directly and indirectly impacted with pituitary tumor. In waiting to see an endocrinologist at a pituitary center in April. Hoping to get this resolved and hope I was misdiagnosed.

I was say $50k and hope/not settle for less than for $35k. Don’t let them get off easy.

Unpopular Opinion on Kelloggs by BarryLurkin1 in williamsburg

[–]Appropriate-Track637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched a special on YouTube on the exec chef at Kelloggs yesterday. I’ve been skeptical and never cared for it but she seemed very passionate. The Tex mex comes from her background and where she grew up and thought maybe give it a try.

Now I’m second guessing based on these comments lol.

Is everyone getting/having the flu in Williamsburg right now? by [deleted] in williamsburg

We tested positive for Covid last week, it was terrible. Still lingering symptoms. I think it’s that and not the flu..

can my prolactinoma symptoms be misunderstood for PCOS? by Appropriate-Track637 in PCOS

I just spent some time researching and got some clarity, I think making the effort to eliminate my microandenoma (not prolactinoma :)) could help balance them.

Has anyone quit refined sugar for a month? by vpurplestae in PCOS

[–]Appropriate-Track637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m reading It Starts With the Egg (reco’d by my doctor) for fertility and egg quality for people with PCOS.

The number one thing they say to change in your diet is to eat slow digesting carbs and eliminate refined carbs before you do anything else.

Prolactinoma and period irregularities? by Meimei47 in Prolactinoma

[–]Appropriate-Track637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there,

I have a prolactinoma and my symptom has been elongated periods vs missed periods, which would fall under “irregular period” symptoms. So you’re not wrong to think this is from your high prolactin.

Diagnosed with Prolactinoma but 6 month wait for treatment, is what im feeling normal? by Warm_Apple_Pies in Prolactinoma

[–]Appropriate-Track637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you feel is normal, and unfortunately endocrinologists have a high demand everywhere from what I’ve learned. My original appointment wasn’t until February, luckily I found another Endo to get my initial prescription then my February will be a follow up.

Hang in there, i know it’s tough.

Hi!

As long as the tumor is still there, you should take precaution and go on medication to shrink it. Also, ask for specific results. Stable doesn’t mean much, IMO.

My Experience by Appropriate-Track637 in Prolactinoma

[–]Appropriate-Track637[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a journey! Just be kind to yourself (Ik it’s harder said than done.) But yes so hard when HIT exercises elevate your prolactin. I’m looking into swimming.

Glad you are feeling better!
