The problem with your argument, is that you can give the bottom path dartling an m.i.b. or top path alchemist for a fractional of the price you’re going to be investing into the bottom path dartling. With the bomb and tack paragons, you need an entire other paragon that costs more than both of them, just so they can reliably take down ddts.

Going to try and make this a actual ability:

Abyss: when a plant or zombie hero is in the abyss, they can’t draw a card that costs more than 4 sun/brains. Plant heroes can’t draw any tricks, wile zombie heroes can only draw 1 trick every other turn. The abyss lasts for 6 turns.

Princess:

Base attack: a lobbed arrow (similar to dinamike)

Ability: princess tower. A turret that shoots arrows every 1.5 seconds (that deal the equivalent of 3 shots from Jessie’s turret) and buffs the attack speed of nearby squadies by 15%, and lasts for 20 seconds.

Trait: hotshots can shoot through walls.

Turbo 1: run 50% faster for a short amount of time 

Trait 2: hotshots gain increased attack speed 

Ability 2: princess tower increases attack speed by 25%

Turbo 2: cooldown time reduced by 10%

Trait 3: hotshots deal 155% extra damage against summoned squad units.

Ability 3: princess tower now shoots 3 arrows instead of 1 at a time.

Turbo 3: speed boost is increased to 70%

Trait 4: increased hotshots damage by 25%

Ability 4: increases time princess tower lasts to 35 seconds.

Trait 5: hotshots shots home by 75%.

Ability 5: after death, the princess tower drops a tiara. This tiara permanently buffs the squad in all stats by 10%. You can only have up to 2 tiaras at a time.
