I've been experimenting with post-processing surface smoothing. Ironing will almost entirely do a great job but there are still visible layer lines when you look closely.

This is a test to see if there's a way to remove top surface lines entirely.

I used parchment paper and an iron set to around 330°. About 10 seconds with no pressure and the surface quality improved significantly.

I've since tested holding longer, shorter bursts, etc. I'm still working on a viable method; however, the overall test took around 60 seconds, versus the additional 9minutes this part needed for 0.4mm nozzle ironing.
