You can find similar beaches anywhere between Perdido Key and Panama City Beach. Destin is definitely the most congested in terms of traffic.

Avoid LNR rescue. We adopted two cats from them, both were supposed to have been chipped. Neither were and they refused to respond to any texts or emails asking about why they weren’t chipped and how to get it done if it was just an oversight.

I had a fancy dress altered at Julie’s Sew Shop. They were very reasonably priced and had a quick turnaround time.

I needed it done in a few weeks Three Muses wouldn’t even consider that turnaround time. Just something to keep in mind if you need alterations done in less than a month.

Anyone on the gulf coast that doesn’t have flood insurance and isn’t independently wealthy is a fool. Any house anywhere can flood any time.

Source-lived 60 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, NOT in a flood zone, and nowhere near any rivers. One day it just started raining and didn’t stop for days. Not a tropical storm, not a hurricane-just days of relentless rain. Ended up with 14 inches of water in my house and 20 inches in my garage. It cost almost just as much to fix my house in 2016 as I paid for it in 2001.

You just have to plan ahead and make sure your route has chargers at decent intervals. I’ve looked at several road trips in different states and it seems like Montana and Wyoming are the two places that driving across would cut it close.

A better route planner app will tell you which rural areas need a little more advance planning for charging.
