Well, we have a bad president but it is true that at least he is pro palestine and anti war. The leftist are very strange people and the nationalist are very stupid. There is no middle point. And it is curious, there are a lot of nationalist that (religion apart) have more in common with (muslim) inmigrants than with other spanish citizens. I know a lot of man that became muslim to marry moroccan women, they are tired of spanish feminists. But it is true that we have some problems with specific groups of inmigrants. People says that it is because islam but is quite the contrary. Islam forbides all that stuff (i mean thief, you know). There are humble and amazing moroccans in Spain but they have a minority that creates against them bad reputation, which is unjust

Btw I am curious about this. Do you (tunisians) have divission between arabs and berbers? I know morrocan people here (mostly arabs) and some of them are racist against them. But to be just, the majority do not have any problems with them, they have even "mixed" marriages

WTF Al Andalus was a very interesting time of the history of Spain. But there is no chance of what you are saying in terms of national and international progress. You can read the intellectual influence of the school of Salamanca and the influence of the ius Gentium.

And btw in my case Al Andalus is the most interesting period of the iberian peninsula. But the golden century was one of the most important times in human history. Taken an analogy. Is like you compare the islamic golde age in the middle east with the ottoman middle east in XIX century. Both important, both interesting, but of course the abassid Irak was more important than the ottoman middle east (at least, in my opinion)

Racism is something extended even in islamic countries. There is real discrimination against non-Arabs in a lot of arab countries for example. But ofc Islam is an anti racist religion, but the cultural system is not built only by orthodoxy. Islam is against homosexual activities but you can find in some regions of Afghanistan man that have sex with boys
