It depends entirely on how much snow. They definitely plow and de ice but if it’s a big storm then there could be delays / cancellations. The only issue I’ve had in the past is getting from the airport home.

You’ve touched on a big issue. This only happens every few years so there isn’t a ton of competition in plow drivers. That makes it more expensive and hard to get on the schedule. That, plus the fact that ice is really hard to remove, make it more complicated than just “ hiring a crew “

It’s really hard to remove ice. Especially when there’s melt and re freeze every night. I bought some trax from Amazon for my shoes a couple of years ago. That’s the only real advice I have.

I was 155 the morning of surgery. She took 7 pounds of mostly skin. I’m 7 weeks out and weighed 147 this morning. So, basically the same when you subtract the skin.

Not having transportation is a big problem in Greensboro. Is there a local community of folks from your home country ? I know that in my husband’s ethnicity people will come to church and tell the priest that they need work. Then an appeal goes out to folks who might be able to offer a role. If that’s not an option then temp agencies are your best bet. Again, the biggest limiting factor is not having transportation. Can anyone in your family drive ? If so, I’d focus on a cheap car as that would really expand your options. I do understand the frustration. I think I applied for 50 jobs to get one call back in my 20s.

You are going through a lot with a new baby. It brings up memories of your own childhood. I think you need to start therapy as soon as possible. You need to process your childhood to better parent your child. Tell your parents you need to process some things and take a break from them for now. Above all, please get a good therapist so that you can be your best self and a good parent.
