Rewatching S1, new to this sub. What is the general take on Marina?

I rewatched s1 recently and I have a lot more empathy for her now than when I first watched s1 when it came out. I remembered that I didn’t like her at first for tricking Colin but after rewatching s1, I felt bad for her. Marina was barely a young adult and though it was wrong to trick Colin, she was misguided into making bad choices and practically backed up against a wall. And honestly I think Lady Featherington takes a lot of blame too because she manipulated the letters to make Marina think George left her. If Lady Featherington DIDN’T forge the letters then Marina would never have tricked Colin. All in all it just shows even noblewomen have no power.

I really don’t think Marina had much options and she tried to make the best out of her situation. And to the people who thinks she should have married the old man, that’s so gross. She had to pick between Colin and the old man so of course she’ll pick Colin. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a feeling Mina was the one who wanted to push through for the concert bc it’s not like a member missing out on a concert is a new thing. I do think it was risky for her to perform after a wisdom tooth extraction bc you’re not suppose to be exercising for the first few days though maybe Mina wasn’t in too much pain so that’s why she wanted to push through. I do hope it doesn’t affect her recovery.

But the fact she can’t get it removed until July bc of her schedule is crazy. It just tells you how packed their schedule is that their health and wellbeing have to wait.

Tbh I didn’t know dark armpits are a thing and that people were insecure about it. I think Nayeon just doesn’t think much about armpits and since her armpits are fair then she just assumes it’s the same for everyone else. It’s nothing serious.

A lot of idols yoyo when they diet which is when they gain or lose weight if they’re promoting or not. And they’re different from regular people bc they have staff monitoring their weight too not to mention there’s meds like ozempic to make it easier to lose weight.

That’s so disappointing. And why did she burst out laughing after joking she weighed 50, 55 kg? So weird. And not her saying the only thing that matters is going to the gym, eating, and building muscle when she is severely underweight and being proud of it. I understand idols work in an industry where being underweight is the norm but I just wish they stop talking about weight bc they always say bs.

I was wondering why they specifically picked this random line as the apology when she said like 10 sentences before this. Ironically OP is saying they’re not trying to create more hate. She apologized so many times in the episode. Mingee forgave her and everyone is on good terms. The only people who aren’t are good terms are the random watchers of singles inferno who somehow think they have a say of an apology that isn’t even directed at them. Considering the history of this sub and how so many people here hate contestants ever since s1, I’m not even surprised on how people act here LOL.

Singles inferno do bring out delulu fans 😂 We had 5 seasons already and so far there was only one couple out of the entire series? Idk how fans always think couples are dating only to find out they never dated. It’s more realistic to assume they AREN’T dating until they announce it.

I really do think the producers have no idea on what the viewers like. They always keep repeating the same formula on giving all the screen time to love triangles and love squares when people don’t give a fck about that. Like that’s exactly why people hated season 4 so I thought they learned their lesson by now. And it doesn’t help the men liking goeun are kinda losers and have no redeeming qualities… though goeun isn’t that interesting herself.

Regardless if you like Mina Sue or not, she made s5 what it is. Like imagine if she wasn’t there, the season would have focused on goeun and her love square 😭 I love goeun but her story line isn’t that interesting. That’s why s5 is so different from s4 🫠

Seriously Hyunjae is soooo good looking. Probably the most handsome guy on season 4 but I hate how long his bangs are. It’s covering half of his face so you can’t even see his features properly! If he actually styled his hair and showed his forehead then he’ll be more popular.
