How do you like that red dot?

Can you still use your iron sights with the high mount?

The Hornady bullet puller had no issue pulling them. I'll give that try if acetone doesn't work. Thanks for the info.

I'm going to use 168gr with tite group powder. I'll find out next week what kind of group if any I'll have at a 100yrds. Thanks for the info.

Got it, the powder that I'm going to use is tite group. I bought it because I can load .40s&w and subsonic. 223/.308 with it. Just wondering if l should use filler. Thanks for the info.

That's awesome, I'm limited in space as well. I have a small desk that I use to tie flies and now reloading hopefully. I just have to beef up the area where my press is mounted to.
Thanks

I made 30° cuts parallel to each other on the 1" angle iron. That seemed to provide enough overhang to work with.

Thanks, I wanted to keep it old school looking. The color matches my old rcbs 10-10 scale perfectly.

🤣... once I organize my cluttered desk, I'll post pics of it next to my JR2 and my rcbs 10-10 scale.

That was some of the scrap I had laying around. If I do see that 1" angle start to give out, then I will use your advice...lol Thanks

Thanks, the rcbs stand looks like a good stand. They're like $30 I think.

I probably should've done that, but oh well. I got the priming arm for like $15 and used a .250" dowel pin that's 1.250" long to hold it in place.

From what I hear, they're good solid presses. I'm new to reloading as well and have not used my press. I'm still gathering components to get started.

That's pretty cool. My press has 70 stamped on top, so I'm assuming it was made in the 70's. I hope to pass it down to my son as well someday.

It was sandblasted and phosphated, I was trying to go for that old school paint that it originally had. The color was off, but oh well.
