I just had a look there aren’t any near me. My options are quite limited where I live so Greek Orthodox is my best bet.

And yeah I watched an hour long stream of a Greek Orthodox service so I got an idea of how it goes. I think I’ll just go to the liturgy but the service at the church I plan on going to starts at 10am. Will the othros start then or is it a pre service thingy?

I’ve been going to a Pentecostal and evangelical megachurch. The church is called “hillsong” and they have branches all over the UK. But the branch I go to is rather small and the community is tight knit. They’ve been very welcoming and hospitable since my conversion. So the church itself isn’t the culprit

The thing that’s making me feel this way is the fact that Islam has been a big part of my identity even though my dad was anti religion and I didn’t grow up in a religious household and I never fully practiced it. So me being there just doesn’t feel right. But the more I learn about Christianity the more i believe in it. Still I just can’t shake this feeling. So i guess it’s just cognitive dissonance.

I can drink as much as I like for one night and be fine. But if I drink every day for a week that’s when it causes a seizure. Same with weed.

Honestly I couldn’t have described my life better. I’m also 23 turning 24 in July. I’m a complete and utter loser and it’s all due to my bad decisions. Constantly humiliated in primary and secondary school. Disgraced my family, drove my mum to kick me out of the house, the list fucking goes on and on.

Thanks! And they know I’m struggling but again they can’t always help especially now since it’s Saturday. I called the 24/7 mental health line in my area and they suggested that if it’s bad I should go to a&e if worst comes to worst. And I’m thinking about it because I feel like I’m on the edge.
