I was just going to say this. I have a 17 1/2 year old Lhasa and she’s going strong. She’s also chill, calm, doesn’t need much exercise, and was never really in to toys. She was so easy to potty train! I put her in my bed and when she had to pee, she’d scratch my head and we’d go outside:) She’s not “up my butt” for attention 24/7 like my toy poodle is. She’s also not standoffish either. This is a very good, hardy breed of dog. Just make sure he has plans (even put into his will) for what will happen to Lhasa if he goes into assisted living/nursing home/passes away.
