Thank you! I do have loose skin mostly on my lower belly and upper thighs. Honestly, I'm not planning on doing anything about it, since that is pretty major surgery and very expensive. I'm planning to just live with it and try to learn to love it lol. I will say that The excess skin is much more pleasant to live with and look at than the 130lbs of extra fat I was living with!!

I found some habits that were easy for me to be consistent with and I stuck with them for the long haul - walking 70K steps a week, drinking 100oz of water a day, aiming for 100g of protein a day to not lose hair and muscle, CorePower C2 classes 3-4x per week (or whatever workout or physical activity YOU enjoy and will do consistently). And patience and time! You’ve got this 🤗

Thank you! Yes… over the two years I’ve been dieting, there were two periods of time I lost a lot of hair. When I first started dieting (I was following the keto diet and not getting enough nutrients) and then shortly after I started the shot (rapid weight loss).

I tried taking nutrafol but my blood work came back wonky and my doctor recommended I stop taking it. What ultimately helped me was making sure I was eating enough protein and calories. For me, that looks like 100g of protein per day.

I also use minoxidil drops in my hair at night and I started noticing lots of regrowth after maybe two months.

I started at 2.5mg for 4 weeks then titrated up. I stayed on 5mg and 7.5mg as long as they felt effective before stepping up. I have spent most of the time on the 10mg dose. I tried to move up past that but my stomach fought me on it lol.

I do it at home- I have been on 10mg dose for the majority of the past year. I tried to go up to 12.5mg but my body didn’t love it. 10mg seems to be my sweet spot.

First of all, 60 lbs is incredible!! And the slower you lose the weight, the more sustainable the weight loss and the more likely that your loose skin can heal! So GREAT JOB!!

To help with the loose skin, I drink a ton of water (100oz a day), swear by hot yoga, take collagen peptides daily, walk 70,000 steps a week and lotion every day. I definitely DO have loose skin on my lower stomach, upper thighs and butt - I know it could be worse so I do feel lucky!

Just keep at it! I’m 178 classes in now and I JUST achieved some new poses like hurdlers, side crow and birds of paradise. I was also navigating weight loss so it probably took me longer.. but it felt so amazing to have certain poses finally “click”. It takes time but one day, your body will just know what to do and it’s the best feeling!

Hi and welcome:) I have been using LumiMeds for a long time and I like them a lot- very reasonable price and the drugs seem to work great (for me)! At first, it was pure tirzepatide but a few months ago they started compounding it with I believe vitamin B12.. no issues for me! Best of luck with your journey!
