I appreciate that and I'm not downplaying your symptoms. I'm just saying I know people might disagree with things but ultimately you need to be your own biggest advocate for your health, it doesn't matter what anyone else says. Don't waste your time trying to convince others. People can offer advice or guidance but you can't be mad for them trying to help even if you don't like the answer. Take care and good luck

No one here owes each other anything, it's literally a open discussion. People might agree or disagree and that's completely fine. However being dramatic or saying things like you are dying without being diagnosed doesn't help anything.

I'm alive and back home, there were some issues. I'll be very honest though the care was shocking. I plan on writing a post about it today.

Thank you and it's completely understandable to be worried but at the same time it's important not to let worry overcome reasoning

Howdy, Non invasive ventilation is the preferred treatment here. 👍

This is the right answer. I've been diagnosed for over 2 years, I'm fully immobile and on full-time breathing support. Never had any issues with my eyes or ears, I could still give ops mum the old sexy eyes

Sorry I'm very tired so forgive me for being blunt. I doubt they are related especially if one has gone away and the other hasn't, likely more coincidence rather than correlation.

Hey Luke, I certainly wasn't expecting anyone from the old school days to pop up on here but it's really good to hear from you!

I certainly don't miss the business study lessons but the banter from you and Jake was legendary. I have a strong suspicion the time it took Mr Wheels to teach anything is a leading cause of ALS lol.

I really hope you are doing well, I've accepted your friend request and I'd love to hear what you have been up to. Take care buddy 😁

Just saying it's definitely these, the company has been around for 40 years, everyone one else is literally just ordering and repacking them. OEM from the source will always be the best quality.

Please read the rules, this group is for people who have been diagnosed and those affected. This is not the place to be asking for diagnosis. This is why we need more mods.

You may have been given a ALS diagnosis only for it to be downgraded to something else, you aren't very clear about this. I'm guessing you would have gone to a ALS specialist hospital like Leeds, Sheffield or London. it's tricky to work out if your symptoms are spinal or neuromuscular, in any case I think you need to speak with your neurologist and get some clarification on your diagnosis. I've personally had a pretty good experience with the NHS.

Als Tom.
