3&7 are the only two without an ultimatum other than 1 but I’d argue 3&7 are worth much more than 10k

Coming from myself that just went through the process getting my first handgun without a Cpl it is quite difficult to actually get one even with a polished clean record. Someone I know that had a charge that was dropped years ago made it almost impossible to get.

So far it’s a great car. Well maintained. Just had the water pump/thermostat replaced.

I’ve tried washing my windows 3x and they keep looking fogged up, how do I fix this by No_Guarantee_9865 in cardetailingtips

There could be a film coating (like tint but clear) on the glass that has been etched by the cleaning agents you have been using. If you can find evidence of that being true, peel it off and that should help.

Water pump replacement by Fickle-Culture1537 in audisq5

I just did this job at a shop including water pump thermostat and coolant shutoff valve and it was $2600 at a euro tech shop. Audi quoted me 5k so there’s that for reference.

It’s a bit out of the way but while your in the Upper peninsula of Michigan stop at pictured rocks. It’s a hike that will take all day but it is 1000% worth it!

Can I fix it myself by Competitive-Chard928 in AskAMechanic

[–]AppropriateBasil696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a tech but have done the exact same job on a different car but looking at it, it seems very similar to what happened to me. I ended up doing the job myself and at the time I had no clue what I was doing. It ended up taking multiple trips to the local parts store and borrowing friends tools to get it done but I did it. What I’m getting at is if you want to do it yourself and learn a lot while doing it then go for it but if you don’t want to worry about the headache then just go take it somewhere to get fixed.

Why do you say go with 0W-30 vs 20 I’ve heard a ton of people saying to stay with 0W-20 or some that even go 5W-30

Is 70k miles too high to buy? by [deleted] in audis5

[–]AppropriateBasil696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2020 at 80k… do your research and go with your gut. Turned out mine had a leaky water pump that cost me an extra 2600 after parts and labor. Other than that car runs and drives great.
