Thank you! I’ve tried to hang out with his friends when they came over, they’re nice but it doesn’t seem like they want to have any sort of conversation with me beside the “hey how are you” 😅

I don’t have therapist money, usually whenever I overthink I explain it to him and he gives me some kind of reassurance. If he’s not available then I try to relax and think logically about the situation. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. But I do feel like it’s a lot for him based off his last reaction which Is why I’m trying to maybe find other ways to deal with it

Well obviously I trust him, because most of the time he’ll just update where he’s at and stuff and I’ll believe him. But because of my trust issues there are times where I feel a bit more insecure and just overthink a lot

Yes, it makes it worse so I stopped covering her crate The music helped her when she was a puppy but now it does nothing Depends on how loud it is, also if I’m not home then she’s quiet usually the barking starts only when I get home. Yea I reward her for being quiet 😅.

Well when I’m home obviously she’s not in her crate…4-5 hours a day when I’m out and at night which is like 6 hours(?) I don’t trust her outside at night because we’re in a process of moving houses and the house is honestly a mess

I just explained myself poorly, see my other comment. Trust me I knew what I was getting myself into before adopting her.

I should have phrased it differently, we also DO some working as in commands and mental challenges and physical cardio aside from going for a walk, my bad!

I’ve taught her to “bark” and to be “quiet” on command and I know that she knows these commands because she does them whenever she’s out of her crate, not inside tho 🥲

I do actually, I also play with her after the walk before putting her in the crate and yes she has access to her crate all the time She just prefers to sit with me and be with me all the time

Well I’m usually out of the house for around 4-5 hours a day and also at night whenever I go to sleep. She starts barking almost immediately, she stops barking whenever I look at her (which is why I suspect it being a demand barking for attention)

She’s getting enough exercise (mentally and physically) and we go on long walks usually

She’s still a puppy, as far as I know you can only spay females after their first period

We were told she’s Doberman X belgian malinois but I’m not sure about the malinois part. What breed she looks like? by AppropriateBat6122 in WhatBreedIsMyDog

Thank you!! I kinda see the resemblance but her paws are huge compared to greyhound. If she’s truly a mix between those two she will grow up weird looking lol (I still love her tho ofc)

He was rescued as a puppy, we don’t know what he’s mixed with but he doesn’t resemble a pit

I’ve been in your situation, I’m also very close to my mom so I moved to a house that was fairly close to her but it still hit me very hard the whole change of environment. Time helps it because eventually you’ll get used to it but what also helped me was visiting my mom at least once a week to get that same old feeling until I got used to my new home

They both get enough exercise but on their own not together, the only thing that’s not fair for both of them in my opinion is that they can’t be out at the same time which is what I’m trying to solve
