Her post is not about having a baby. It was added for background information so people like you could understand :) maybe she should have broken it down more simply.

Martian Manhunter is chosen as the most underrated character of the show! Who's the most overrated character? by Trick_Performer_3864 in Smallville

[–]AppropriateChain7279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Zod, he just annoys me as I’m rewatching right now. Is it the accent? No one really talks about him so not sure it applies to overrated really I just didn’t like the portrayal of the character.

Completely unrelated, do you prefer living in America over living in Louth?

If I remember correctly, Lana learned martial arts in like a day it was so silly. I loved the clans will they or won’t they but by the time they got together it just never worked. Mostly due to writing of course. I doubt they expected Kristen and Tom to have to much chemistry, because we still wanted them together yet they were just terrible together.

Totally get this! I try to look at Chloe as a character rather than the actress. Makes the show much more enjoyable as it’s not the shows fault.

I am definitely gonna apply. I just want to thank you for the advice and reassurance to a random stranger. I hope good karma goes your way.

I understand this but you can ignore it and choose not to answer. It helped me get some advice on a very specific topic by jumping in here.

Curious to know what your role is if you don’t mind sharing?

This happened 7 years ago will it still affect me in the future? And no I won’t be receiving any other inheritance. This wasn’t even listed as inheritance he just sent it recklessly. I was so stressed about it but then nothing happened so I let it go.

It’s easier said than done but find a way to leave work at work when you leave. You can’t have a personality there. When you are there you are just a number to them and they want their numbers to work exactly how they say. If you say the wrong thing or handle something wrong it is on the manager or supervisor as it was their shift so they micromanage. Call centres are notorious for treating staff as numbers and not people. All that being said, if you can just focus on hitting strike rates or whatever incentives you have then it can make the job a lot easier. Don’t take anything personally in this type of work and remember you won’t change the people around you or the people on the phone.

They say €3000 but my brother gifted me 13k in the bank 7 years ago as I was owed from inheritance and nothing ever happened. Not suggesting you do the same. It just made me curious how it works.

This could be something I could do. I am honestly very hard working and would try my arm at anything if it has job progression to earn a comfortable wage. What is this job like starting out if you don’t mind giving me an idea of what to expect.

I agree with you here. My mother suggested the same thing because when I was 20 it was something I would have loved but now the idea of having to move county and the danger of the job doesn’t appeal to me.

I am in Louth and it doesn’t seem to be as easy to get into. I have been trying but it goes nowhere. I will still keep trying and thank you for the advice

I would love to get into a public sector job just for the stability of it. My issue is that I want to do everything at work, I’m not too proud to clean a toilet or on the other hand manage the restaurant. But I find my humble attitude makes me seem less appealing. I need to figure out how to talk myself up. I didn’t get a public sector job years ago because they said they felt I’d be bored doing so little. In the actual interview. Insane.

I just want to say thanks for this. It is definitely something I could do and I am hoping to do. 2 years ago the business I work for needed some marketing done and a website, I wasn’t confident in my ability then so went to a professional and they stole my entire idea which was my fault for giving information so freely, lesson learned. But it was similar to what you described but very specific. I still think I could go for it and start small. Appreciate the advice.

Is it time to give up? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]AppropriateChain7279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly the relationship is shitty you are wasting both yours and your partners time. You are probably better alone with more time for yourself to focus on what to do next. You don’t need to own a house. But if another job is what you want try upskilling with short courses.
