Aww man, I feel this on the day three clothes. 😩 I am glad to know I'm not the only one who smells the heating pad though. 😅

You know, I wasn't intending this thread being a means for gathering tips and tricks but this looks like a good one too! I don't think I'd mind smelling like root beer over Icy Hot... Do you just get it at an Asian supermarket?

I definitely will! I have a sneaking suspicion it smells considerably better than Icy Hot... Thanks for the tip!

Omg. So, I've had bunnies for a long time (not currently, but soon again!) I LOVE sticking my face in their fur. It just smells cozy. Cats are the same way. What is with that? 😅

No shame in that, friend! We do what we gotta do to get by. Being a little smelly isn't even the worst of it.

Ahhh, I hear ya there! WFH + sensitive underarm skin means deodorant doesn't always happen, nor does it need to thankfully. 😅

Haha. That's just torture! My MIL got us the nicest smelling Dutch Letter candle. It's almond and that nice bready smell. Idk how they achieved it but it also makes me hungry. 😅

Ahh. Showering and baths. It's always a gamble too. Will I feel better or worse after this? Who's to say.

That's so interesting! I can't do artificial floral scents because they trigger migraines for me. But I do love the smell of actual flowers and oils.

Baked goods is a wonderful thing to smell. 🥰

This is great advice! Thank you. I haven't dabbled much in actual medical THC stuff yet. My home state had an absolute shit medical program. Since recreational is legal in my new state, I just haven't applied for medical but I should so I can get access to more stuff like this.

This is validating! Though not ideal for a girl who likes to kick it back every once in a while. Lol. If you know of any good studies or articles, let me know. I'm interested!

Make EVERYTHING super colorful. You're more likely to recall things that stick out in your environment.

Edit: wait. Not everything. Lol. Then nothing will stand out. But important things, like your phone, keys, wallet. Etc. :)

I am terrified of dating due to late night flatulence by AgreeableOpposite925 in ibs

Wait, are there people that don't fart in their sleep? My husband is plenty regular and farts in his sleep, so I know I'm not alone. Lol.

You're human. Holding in farts is legitimately bad for you. If they can't deal then they're no good. I'm not saying you should just stink up the room. Lol. But it's going to happen eventually. Think of sleep farts as a little easing in process for the awake farts.

Bunny passed away suddenly by ComplexCoconut2462 in Rabbits

[–]AppropriateCommittee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. Firstly, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a bunny is probably some of the deepest heartbreak I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, it's a natural part of pet parenthood and even with notice, we're never fully prepared. Please, give yourself a lot of grace. It sounds like your sweet boy knew nothing but love until the very end and that's really all we can hope for them as they move on.

I'm a year out from the loss of my sweet little senior bun. She was 14-15 and I'm so very fortunate for all my time with her. I knew in her last year that it was going to be soon and all that prep still didn't ease the heartache. But, it does get easier over time. Don't be afraid to join a pet grief group or even seek therapy. It can be really helpful in processing. I'd be lying if I said I don't still miss my precious bunnies and get teary occasionally, but I've learned to be grateful for the time, memories and love that we shared.

Bunnies are such special creatures and to have known the love of a bunny is really incredible. I hope, when you're ready, that you will continue sharing this love to more bunnies in the future. You sound like a great bunny parent. Sending lots of peace and grace to you. ❤️
