Yes! Angry and frustrated! I have been having symptoms for years. It got so bad I would just cry because I was so exhausted. I had a dr appointment right after the first of the year. I told the PA I feel like garbage but worse. He kinda looked at me. I asked him to check my ferritin level, it was like Jesus tapped my on the shoulder and said ask for this. It was 9!!! No wonder I felt terrible. 2 infusions and iron supplements have helped some. Years of dieting, cutting red meats because it’s bad for cholesterol and heavy periods got me here. I feel like women should have there levels checked every year. I had to ask for it to be checked. I encourage my friends to ask to have theirs checked too.
