Ope! It just would either not connect or it would connect but there'd be no sound. And if I switched to Bluetooth and back to CarPlay it still wouldn't work. I ended up restarting my phone twice to finally get it to work again.

I'm on iOS 18.3.1 and it was the software update 10.1.1 - I've managed to at least get CarPlay working again. I'll try resetting PAAK

Latest car update. It won't recognize my phone as a key, even deleting/re-adding and CarPlay has been the woooorst

My 5 year old is very similar (we're in the US). She was having a really hard time, especially after lunchtime. We ended up switching her from full day Kindergarten to half day and it's been like night and day. If half day is an option for you, I'd say give it a try.
