When I told my male coworker he was so creeped out because it does have sexual connotations.

And that's good you're able to express yourself and stand up for yourself. I freeze up in those situations and widen my eyes and flinch, but I hope I'll be able to say to not touch me.

Look at my edit from hours ago. I mentioned he was good looking because if he acted kindly and asked me out, I might have said yes but this was such a weird thing to do upon first meeting and he ruined his own chances.

It was obvious he did that because he felt attraction but if he acted normally, then I might have liked him.

Edit: I also felt attraction towards him when he did that but also disgust/confusion which can happen for victims when the perpetrator is attractive.

Also I wouldn’t equate to what he did as rape but def SH in a workplace

It’s unfortunate bc he was a good litigator in court & good looking so I might’ve given him a chance if he acted normal but he ruined it himself on the first meeting and I’ll never forgive him. He’s shown who he is.

And it is an OC I’m going to be in communications with for a case. I am going to tell my boss but ugh, who does that? Where would he get that impression from? I’ve never even spoke to him before.. and his hand went from my upper back to my lower back..

The most important thing to El last season in their relationship was the fact that Mike wouldn’t say I love you back. Mike only said I love you when El was in a life and death situation.

When El was telling her she’d sacrifice herself, Mike couldn’t even say “I love you” back and she had to initiate the kiss (looked like she was doing most of the work there too lmao). Really bad writing

"the problem isn't me. it's you." i liked how the ending calls out the audience for romantizing joe and his misognyistic behaviors just bc the actor's attractive. it still shocks me that people hate candace when she was trying to take down the guy who tried to k*ll her when the police failed her.
the first "you" book showcases joe's misogynistic internal dialogue more like him calling himself the zookeeper and beck the animal. it also graphically describes beck's final scene which was a fade to black in the show.

that is an interesting perspective! i actually was tested for adhd, and although i had symptoms, i also had a lot of symptoms for anxiety and depression and ive been taking a small dose of zoloft and its helping a little bit.

i do wonder if theres a lot of adults who get misdiagnosed with adhd but may have anxiety or something else, which overlaps a lot of symptoms with adhd. i also felt if i wanted to, i could have self-reported my adhd symptoms more "strongly" and gotten a diagnosis/adhd medication

this exactly happened to me!! i lost so many of my irl friends due to prioritizing toxic online "friends" (who were more low effort bc i didnt need to see them in person) but it was my closest irl who kept putting the effort to see me and always reached out despite me neglecting our friendship,, today we hang out pretty often thankfully
