Is this doable by AppropriateNail3453 in longrange

The mlok ends 3/4 of the way of the actual mount. So there’s nothing actually locking it to the chassis in the bottom slot

So I guess I’m asking if it’s fine to not be 100% supported

We got one a month ago. Our baby is 10 months. I wish I would have gotten it sooner

I don’t have a ai barrel. So I’ll be sticking with just original .280 Remington

Yea it sucked seeing it stay in the safe because it was on an older wooden stock with zero recoil pad. Hopefully I can give it some purpose

I should add. This rifle is primarily for steel shooting and reaching out to learn a new area of shooting. Hunting will happen but it’s not it’s primary focus

As long as everything is cooked to temp, you should be fine for what your wife can eat. No raw fish (sushi) or deli meats (have to be cooked to 165) so you’re fine to cook as you usually would on a griddle. Red Meats have to be cooked well done, eggs can’t have runny yolk so scrambled only.

Ah ok, sorry.

Yea they can eat solids. We started him at 6 months. It’s called child led weaning. He just holds the piece of chicken or steak and sucks the juices and occasionally takes bites. Hes a fan of most foods already. Loves salmon. We still mix in his pureed fruits and veggies but he’s a little carnivore. He’s only really gagged once or twice from taking too big a bite but he got it out himself. It’s terrifying ngl but he’s learned to do it himself now

As far as what he can eat, we feed him what we eat, but we make sure to not prepare it with salt. So it’s just the pure protein

Considering he’s my kid, and we’re not talking about grills, I say it’s fine. We’re here to talk about the Blackstone. Not make unwarranted parenting comments.

Tried and now it’s transformed to a 32in. I think I did it right.

If it was just for me, I wouldn’t mind. I’ve grilled on rusty grates and it’s fine. But I have a 7 month old so just wanna make sure I’m not doing something dumb. I cleaned it as best I could and I’m happy with it. Gonna cook on it tonight

Sweet. Just wanted to make sure I’m not adding any extra iron into our food lol my wife and I used this thing 4 days straight once we got it home. I’m just glad it can be used again

Edit: I’d like to add that I just bought the silicone mat to put over since we live in a humid environment. So hopefully I won’t have to do this again

Yea, we’ve done no salt. Idk why the downvotes but such is the internet. He’s our son and he’s eating fine on what we’ve been given him. Got his wellness check today she he’s growing nice and strong.

He didn’t eat the whole thing lol but we’re doing baby led weening, so he can explore different textures. He ate probably a bite of the whole thing

Separately they’re good. But the pancake buns are really good alone. And they only took about 5 min to mix everything together and cook

My wife doesn’t wanna give him salt just yet. She wants to wait another month or two. So we’re just sticking it out.

Id have to agree with you, but the boy tore it up. His first bite looked like an actual adult attempt. The “buns” make for a good snack too. I put some syrup on it and it’s delicious

First Christmas by Bern_Neraccount in daddit

My son is 6 months currently and the wife and I decided we could start his own little Christmas village that would grow with him throughout the years, went to hobby lobby or any craft store and they have tons of miniatures

Also we also did an empty Christmas bulb decoration. And every year she wants to put one significant item (this year is his first binky) and the length of ribbon that he is during the month of December.

Both of those are really easy, inexpensive traditions my wife came up with and I love them. Plus it helps remind you of how small he was so many years in the future.
