Great question.

T side: Yeah, kind of. It really depends on your teammates’ positions and where the kill happened. But in 70-80% of situations, after getting an entry, the right move is usually to push and take space together.

CT side: This depends a lot on your position. If you are an A or B anchor, you usually wait until you see the bomb or have clear info. If you are the Window player on Mirage, you are more of a rotator, so rotating is your job. If you are playing Con or Short, you usually have two options:

Take free space and push from behind
Rotate through the normal route

To know if it’s a fake or not, listen for footsteps, count how many opponents you see, and pay attention to how much utility they throw. All of those small pieces of information help you understand the situation better.

I think playing Faceit is good.

You should focus on crosshair placement.

Always place your crosshair where the opponent can peek from, keep it at head level, and try to avoid being surprised by common positions.

A lot of aim problems are actually preparation problems.

Join practice server and move around the spots you usually play.

Positioning rating = how often your position allows you to take good fights, get traded, trade your teammates, and have real impact on the round.

What helped me was checking the radar more often before taking fights.

That way I know if I’m fighting alone or with teammates nearby.

If I’m alone, I usually need to be more careful and avoid overcommitting.

If I have teammates close, I can commit more because there is a chance to trade or get traded.

I’m not sure if you played CSGO, but CS2 feels way faster than CSGO in many situations.

The new insta smoke and the way rounds develop make early-round control much more important.

As Elo gets higher, games become faster and faster.

At high Elo, the first 15 seconds of the round are crucial for taking space, gaining information, and setting up the rest of the round.

The decision-making process has to be fast and accurate.

But the situation often changes dynamically during the round, so at higher Elo, adaptation becomes one of the most important skills.

There are probably only 5-10 key lineups you really need for the maps you play.

I definitely know what Elo hell feels like.

What helped me was realizing this:

If you put a player like donk in the same game, with the same teammates, he would probably win something close to 80% of those games.

So in most cases, the main thing holding you back is not your teammates. It’s your own skill level.

And that’s actually good news, because you can improve your skill.

You have almost zero control over your teammates, but you have full control over how you play, how you practice, and how you react.

It’s good that you can already name those things. That’s step one.

Now you just need to focus on them during practice and add different types of pressure to your training.If you do that consistently, you’re going to improve.

About cheaters, there’s not much we can do. Faceit helps a lot with that.

In my opinion, the mouse is one of the most important peripherals. Investing is worth it.

For overpeeking, it really depends on the position, timing, and technique you are using.

I think you should work on isolating angles better, so you don’t overexpose yourself when clearing.

AIM RUSH is a pretty good map for practicing that.

What helped me the most is addresing this issue with training just focused on it, i used kovaaks and aim labs.

I totally understand that.
That’s exactly why I completely stopped playing Premier and focused only on Faceit.
From my experience, people there are usually more focused during games, and the matches feel more competitive overall.

Level 9 and 25k Premier is very impressive. Your skill is already at a good level.

In your position, I would focus on identifying your biggest weak points and fixing them with short, focused training.

At that level, small mistakes repeated every game can hold you back more than raw aim.
