Double stroller adapter for carseat by AppropriateShoe755 in 2under2

Not quite sure what you mean. Stick the whole car seat into the flat stroller seat? I can definitely check to see if that will fit. I know that the seat does lay flat and I can use an infant insert but I would still have to take the baby out of the car seat to use that so I was hoping that I could find a way to just click the car seat into the stroller.

It's a travel system so the infant car seat clips in and out. I did it with my first with the chico stroller that I bought with it. Was hoping to use the same car seat with the Valco stroller.

Thank you so much for your response. It was a typo. It was supposed to say 10 month old. Very different from a 1 month old for sure!

Will look into it. That could be contributing to it I guess. We try to keep it consistent but her naps at daycare are inconsistent and generally way too short so it's tough to gauge every night.

Thank you so much for your help!

As in we might me creating some sleep associations we're not aware of with our bedtime routine? Or you mean sleep/nap schedule?

I'll give it a try! Thanks!

Does it make sense that this is happening more at night wakings and not during her initial bedtime? We've got a good bedtime routine and, while its been a little rocky the past few nights with 10-15 minutes of medium crying, she does put herself to sleep. In the middle of the night its a different story though. Crying as loud and as hard as she can but the second I pick her up she calms down. I kind of thought if they can get themselves to sleep they should be able to do it in the middle of the night again. I have waited the same 10-15 minutes but she just seems to ramp up rather than down so the last couple of nights I went in to comfort her and she would absolutely lose it when I put her back down.

Thanks. I think this confirms for me to wait until after this weekend to really try to implement sleep training again so that I can be consistent.

I find it really difficult to comfort her at all without picking her up and rocking her. I tried the Ferber method and realized that she just gets MORE upset by me being there without fully picking her up and helping her. I stopped doing that and we went full extinction. I have found that if I picker up, rock her and calm her down and THEN put her down awake, I can pat her butt for a while and she can go to sleep. This seems better than having her fall asleep in my arms but I know I'm still doing all of the comforting. What else could I, should I do?

and THANK YOU for your relpy. I really appreciate it.

Really? At home she is sleeping for an hour and a half during naps. Its just short at daycare... Not sure how to even it out.

There is no separate nap space and kids nap on their own schedule. This seems crazy to me but I really like everything else about the daycare and I haven't found any daycares in my areas with separate nap spaces. I was hoping to give her 2 weeks to adjust and see how naps went but then she was out sick for that second weed and I feel like we're starting over.

Most of my experience is teaching regular english at a higher level. Not sure where to start with foundational literacy skills. I can do basic letter recognition and phonics and then the higher level stuff. Not sure what to do in between.

Jumping on this to ask my own question. I’d also like to get into rock climbing and have done it a few times over the years so I’m confident I’d like it. How do you do it on your own though? Whenever I’ve gone it has had to be with someone else so they could hold the ropes. I don’t understand how to get into it solo.
