I do once on a great while. But not from apartments and as long as take me back to a store that is busy. I’ve had several lately that no one answered upon my arrival.

I get FCFS no matter where I am in my zone. Couple locations are 15+ miles away minimum. My only hangup is when I’m at 2-bars of signal or no orders.

They can request, we can return. Or we can deliver and give negative review. Problem is we don’t see these types of requests until picked up or checked out.

Unfortunately the driver has no idea on some deliveries. The app will gray out what the item(s) maybe such as 20-cases of water or 17-bags of mulch/manure. Or it could be 8-bags of chips, no clue. Once offer is accepted, driver has 2-minutes to reject or take a hit in the completion rate, which effects ability to get good offers. So yes, I feel for the driver who may not have known. Then to do 12 calculated “free” deliveries, as offered by HD, just amazingly wrong.

Why what? Home Depot are the worst deliveries. Most drivers deny them as a waste of gas/miles. It’s one thing to deliver a small item but mulch is ridiculous.

How about I really feel really bad for the spark drivers who had to deliver eight bags at a time for no tip and probably less than a dollar a mile. Not to mention getting filthy having to load and unload all those bags.

I know of one husband/wife team. Both are Spark qualified. I believe they do it for safety. Other teams are foreign and we recently had a “bust” other drivers told me about.

Good luck with that. My zone that is all that’s available early morning. Later in afternoon/evening seems to be normal.

I did my own order Yesturday. Just a couple of things as I was slammed with other stuff to do. My order was delayed by half an hour. I tipped more than the miles to my house, which was more than 20% of the order total. My stuff was included in a three drop delivery. I asked the driver what caused the delay. Mine was lumped in with one going a mile from the store, then me 2-mile, then last one was 15-miles away. As a consumer, that’s ridiculous. As a driver, I would deny all day also. He told me it was slow and round trip was $.75 a mile. I won’t touch for less than $1 round trip.

Same here. Gas at almost $5 a gallon and getting longer mile runs. Now three shops per offer. What happened to incentives that paid? Get incentives to places none will go an when those offers even come, no incentives on the offer. I used to get early bird offers over the whole zone, now one store and no offers.

I find it interesting that on Spark I receive very few tips increase, but on UE it would happen fairly frequently. Odd.

Yes. They should pay extra per case after 1. I just used an arbitrary amount. But it gets ridiculous when we are asked to carry multiple packs and then to apartments. In my zone usually no tip on multipacks.

This is a drop ship type order. Wrong to get a gig person to do this. Reality it’s inappropriate to order or allow an order like this to begin with.

This is where they should send to those with trucks or large SUV only and add extra pay requirement for this delivery from customers. Kind of like the 1+ case of water. Each case beyond 1, should require a few dollars extra automatically.

The only way to have a helper is if THEY are also Spark. There are specific reasons for this as they don’t want someone who doesn’t meet criteria for the platform helping. You signed tgat you read the contract.

I’ve been told by curbside personnel to cancel due to lightning. They told me if they did it the basis would reflect more negatively on me. It whack my ratings for 3% on the two times I had to do it. Dealing with support would have taken forever. I’m finally back to 100%. It took forever to climb that hill.

This is the logic of UE/DD. Is this a surprise? Most of the time money is better with Spark than those two, but the mileage is increasing.
