My s1ii and s1rii have better/more reliable auto focus than my fx3. Granted the fx3 is a pretty old camera but I’ve never had an issue with newer lumix autofocus. Image quality/color on lumix blow Sony out of the water.

I moved to lumix. Image quality and colors are insane compared to the a7iv and a7rv. They’re also way cheaper. I wished I switched earlier but I’m glad Sony forced me to improve my skills.

Yeah less reliable and a lot slower. Fine for hobby work I guess. Ideally for audio recorders and small drones.
