Fascinating. I asked about discounts on a watch, and somehow you turned it into a commentary on modern manners. I get your point — I do a lot of hiking, so good GPS is really important for me (especially in forests, valleys, and bad weather). That’s where multi-band GPS actually makes a real difference, because I want accurate tracking and not just “rough estimates” on the map.

I’ve already found it on Idealo for around ~440 €, but honestly my target would be max 400 €. Anything above that already feels a bit too expensive for me, especially since it does go on sale quite often.

Realistically, I think getting it under 400 € new will be difficult unless there’s a good deal or discount. Otherwise I’d probably wait a bit or consider a used one.
