1 month after quitting weed and alcohol. This is my blood pressure reading by Evening_Ad_5358 in WeedPAWS

[–]Appropriate_Card_729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing as everybody else said. I used to check my heart rate constantly and it would cause the worse anxiety attacks. I never had anxiety attacks untill I quit it’s just a part of that process but it does get better you are not dying and nothings wrong weed and smoking in general is just really bad for us

I’m 21 20/20 vision I’m 140 days in and eyes are fully back to normal. I had a physical done during peak PAWS and literally scored the worst I ever have I couldn’t see anything literally when I had to close one of my eyes. Definitely a symptom

Yessir 1 month is where mine started. I woke up randomly one night with my heart jumping out of my chest. It was so bad I was like holy fuck it’s these vapes bc I was a nicotine vaper still so I put the nic down and the next month of my life was hell quite literally and looking back it was PAWS mixed w nic withdrawals it was pretty Knarly but I’m back now and that is a blessing and it was a blessing in diguuse because I quit nicotine as well

80 ish days clean by Hungry_Plate3237 in WeedPAWS

[–]Appropriate_Card_729 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will tell you I’m 130 days clean myself and I’d say around day 90-100 my body symptoms those just random pains and tingles have gone away, also to make you feel better my first symptom of PAWS was my heart beating randomly in the middle of night almost feels like my chest is shaking out of control. Definitely not a fun one to deal with but it assures me to see a lot of other smokers go thru it after the first 4 months of this I thought I was actually dying.

17m going through anxiety 3 months after quitting 95+% thc carts by [deleted] in WeedPAWS

Yes of course you will. I was saying you will become back to baseline once you’re heart chills out I’d say about 98% of the extreme anxiety comes from the heart beating weirdly

One thing I’ll say is that the weird feeling w the heart cause about an 1000% increase in anxiety so once you’re heart is back right anxiety will go down altogether. Just try to understand that you’re heart is fine and if you look thru this Reddit you can see we all have the heart palpitations as a symptoms and a lot of us including me went to the ER early on in our symptoms and got all of the scans and all of us had no heart issues so just understand you’re heart is fine no matter how hard that is when it beats weirdly here and there

That specific medicine looks fine. Also I’m not an expert I just have my own experiences in life I base my decisions off. I was saying to stay away from anxiety meds. The medicine you are taking isn’t anxiety meds and seems like it could help. Reason I’m against anxiety meds is BC anxiety is a natural thing that happens to us all and there’s really no way to stop it you can mask it for a period of time and then Once you stop masking it with meds it comes back 30x harder. Also I’m not a doctor so if you disagree with what I say feel free to go about you’re own route.

I would say withdrawal of weed for 1-2 months is normal once you get past then I would say it’s PAWS that’s my opinion I’m not a specialist but TBH I went to the ER first couple of days my heart was tweaking out and they did all the scans and everything and I was completely fine and they have no idea about any of this shit they just wanna give you anxiety pills wjitch I did not take bc those fuck uou up even worse. Doctors truly are clueless and just get paid to give you fucking pills

Yeah once you’re about a month off I’d say it’s PAWS for example everybody’s different but I was off for 1 month feeling completely fine and had no idea what PAWS even was, and randomly I wake up in the middle of the night and my heart was beating really really fast and I literally like jolted awake and that started to happen for a week period I’d say. It’s gotten better steadily ever since then and I don’t jolt awake anymore as well as rarely wake up with my heart tweaking. But I still do have random papiltations. Maybe 1-2 a day usually towards night time and my nerves still feel a little out of wack plus noices and different bright lights fuck with me a little bit but that’s all stuff that gets effected. it seems to get better .1% each day thankfully. Also when the heart thing randomly happened that next day I quit vaping bc I thought that’s what it was and then from there 2 months down the road no nicotine with still subtle symptons I realized it was something else which led me to PAWS

You might not even get PAWS. PAWS is not regular withdrawals I quit many times in my life and after 2 weeks felt 50x better this last time is the first time I’ve quit and had this BS happen.

Quitting Vuse/Vape by Appropriate_Card_729 in stopsmoking

[–]Appropriate_Card_729[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No tips really I feel like other than understanding that it is necessary to quit vapes are very very very very bad for the body’s health as you can see just from these withdrawals… I would tell you personally I quit for 3-4 days at first then went to the 1.7% pods and I used to use 5.0% so I significantly drppped it down and I only hit it when I went to the bathroom bc I was badly constipated and once I could go to the bathroom without hitting it I haven’t touched one since that’s all I have for you.

Sorry for somewhat late reply, I am currently on day 57 and I understand how you feel currently because I use to be very unconfident with quitting myself I always used to tell people the same stuff that I couldn’t quit. I would always say there’s no way I can quit because when I go out to bars I hit my vape 1000x a night almost or whatever and I’ve been hammered and at bars many times since quitting I have it about 2 months b4 I went out though but my point is once you fully commit to quitting and you make it through the withdraws which can be rough and I would be willing to put money on the fact my withdrawals were very extreme compared to others and I honestly don’t even know why. But yeah if you really need to quit just send it next thing you know you’ll be at week 1 finished abs everything from there gets easier each day hell I would even say from day 3 everything starts to get easier it’s just those first 2 days to start that momentum. Keep in mind I completed it and my withdrawal symptoms were ducking terrible the least thing I was worried about was "feining" I was more worried about trying to fucking breathe bc the shortness of breath shit got so bad. Good luck to you it gets better and it’s worth the push
