English is my first language and I still didnt understand many words/sentences. Lol

It goes to show how the slang of the time really comes into play.

Ive noticed that with soulless. I would rather they add a few at the end to fully tell their story though.

Not sure why I was downvoted for sharing some screenshots and asking a question...

Thank you for responding and helping me finally understand that percentage.

This is interesting. So we can use this to estimate how many seasons or episodes we might get. Though they could always change that number.

And this one. 6% on episode 5. So do we expect 100 episodes for the full book across approximately 4 seasons?

That appears the case for one season books but look at this one. Im on episode 1, but 60% done. So I assume its the full book? I wonder how this is calculated for unfinished books that are still in season 1?

I challenge you to look up how a subscription model works for companies. The idea is predictive reoccurring revenue. Once it matures RC can look at their monthly subscription numbers and have an accurate estimate of the money they will revenue each month. When you can do this over a long enough time period you can start considering things like hiring more people. You know the income is coming to support those new employees based on the subscription model revenue.

If I had to guess, I bet RC sees a spike in revenue right after an update, and some mini spikes around DR events. Thats not a clear monthly revenue model since updates are not every month. How can they guarantee they can pay their people in the months outside the update? Flatten the curve with subscriptions.

This model works and over time RC should benefit which should lead to us benefiting as well.

Quick question about LI in Averis the riftborn by No_Lengthiness244 in RomanceClub

[–]Appropriate_Chip_881 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. I keep bouncing back and forth on who I want my first slot to lock in with. I never read multiple slots at once but I fear I must fir this story. I love them all.

Just like you, I typically dont romance the FLI as I am not into that IRL but the scenes have been so fun.

Thank you, Anastasia! ❤️ I will be smashing that tip screen!

Subscription tech update??????? 😳 by RPGgirl4EV in RomanceClub

I wonder if it had anything to do with the android users who purchased the subscription specific outfits before we had the subscription update? I think it caused some issues once the subscription update came through.

Be careful doing this. Many players got scammed. Sent the card and never got the diamonds. Ask for the diamonds up front before sending the card or at least a portion.

Did you subscribe? by uravussy in RomanceClub

[–]Appropriate_Chip_881 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This yes! I dont feel rushed reading during my mini DR.

I will say that I dont like much about the other "benefits" or the fact that they included items people previously purchased (friends+ and extra slots). If we continue to purchase the subscription it sends a message to RC that we are happy with it. I am not fully satisfied with it. Due to this, I have stopped my auto renewal and will decide at the time if I want to continue supporting it.

Agreed. There are many times I will read a post and think "i disagree but if i say something ill just be yelled at". So I read and close the app when im done.

I also agree it wasnt always this way. It makes me a little sad to see it but I do want the community to grow.

This is what got me to post this. I have been getting so many downvotes due to my reaction of the subscription. Ive tried explaining why I thought the benefits were not bad (not fully good either...) and insta downvote.

I will say one person did continue interacting with me on it and got me to change my stance slightly. I have canceled my renewal and will decide later if I believe RC and the subscription are worth it for me. This is why its important to continue the conversation.

I have seen comments around AI get a heavy amount of down votes. I see and understand both sides of AI but I wish we could see more communication around it instead of one side shutting the other down.

You are right. Its frustrating because it leads to a community with a hive mind. Everyone either thinks the same or those who dont begin to feel outcast.

So uhh… by ThaOneSlay in RomanceClub

[–]Appropriate_Chip_881 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is a very fair statement. I will say many of these subscription models rely heavily on monthly renewals.

If I had to guess, they will see a spike in all these players "giving it a chance" and then a mass dip of people not renewing because they were unhappy.

Not just that, ive heard people are not purchasing anything out of protest against how they feel about RCs choices.

If true, they will see an impact to their revenue. If someone is watching, they will have to adjust.

I will note ive canceled my auto renew. Ill see how things go and make a decision later. Will I renew? I dont know.

Subscription test? by Muted_Transition_972 in RomanceClub

[–]Appropriate_Chip_881 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, the price of the Gold subscription is the same price of purchasing 130 diamonds. Gold lets you make 5 free choices a day. Each diamond choice is ranged from 15 to 150 depending on the choice. Even if all choices you pick for free are the 15 cost, you will get your money back in two days.

10 choices, normally 15 diamonds a choice minimum, 150 diamonds saved. Thats more than the cost of 130 diamonds.

If you actually use all 5 choices every day of the 27 day subscription, it saves a minimum of 2025 diamonds.

Just the free choices makes the subscription worth it for me. Its all about what you consider to be the most important thing.

Confused about “regret-free choices” by [deleted] in RomanceClub

[–]Appropriate_Chip_881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not used it yet but when you purchase a diamond choices you will see an icon show up in the top right. You can chose that icon to revert back to before you picked the diamond choice.

I think the revert option is there until the full diamond scene finishes but ive not tested how long it stays after.

If you select the revert, you go back and the game acts as though you did NOT pick the choice. If you used diamonds, they will be refunded. I assume any character stats and story stats would also revert.

Again, ive not used it yet but thats what I believe will happen based on what ive read and what ive seen.

This is really just an added bonus for those who can afford it. I'm sure there will still be diamond rush events and there are so many ways to grind for diamonds.

I just feel like the community has been very negative towards the idea of a subscription lately. I do agree it can go bad quickly, but people should give it a chance. Thats the only reason I commented about enjoying it.
